POOL RULES
Each member is expected to know and obey all the rules. Parents should advise their children of the rules and insist that they obey the instructions of the pool staff. Failure to comply may result in suspension of pool and club privileges.

1. The pool staff is in charge and is to be obeyed at all times.

2. No one is permitted to enter the pool enclosure unless lifeguards are on duty.

3. Residents of the community who are not pool members and have not been members the previous two years, may visit occasionally as guests (up to 3 time per season) and are encouraged to join the Club.

4. Each family member is required to sign in at the desk each time they use the pool. Pictures of each member are required in the membership book. Please verify and update the card for your family.

5. Absolutely no children seven years of age or under will be admitted to the pool enclosure unless accompanied and supervised by an adult member or guest or youth member at least 14 years of age.

6. Children under 12 years of age, in order to enjoy unrestricted use of the pool, will be required to pass a basic test and receive a bracelet.

7. Children under 14 years of age may not use the pool after 7 PM unless accompanied by an adult member or adult guest or youth member of his/her own family at least 16 years of age.

8. Children under 3 years of age are not permitted in the main pool unless they are wearing waterproof diapers. Children 6 years and under may use the wading pool only when accompanied by a responsible member or guest who remains inside the wading pool enclosure.

9. Health Department regulations require that all persons take a shower before using the pool. A bather leaving the enclosure or using the toilet facilities must take another shower before returning.

10. No running is permitted at any time inside the pool enclosure.

11. The use of balls, snorkels, face masks and water toys and equipment, is dependent upon the discretion of the lifeguards and pool manager. Under no circumstances will the use of such toys and equipment be permitted when the pool is crowded or when such use constitutes a hazard or a nuisance to other pool users.

12. Flotation devices of any type (i.e. water wings, etc.) are prohibited in the main pool.

13. Fifteen minutes of each hour will be reserved for a rest and adult swim period. All children under the age of 16 must vacate the swimming and diving areas. Children 6 years and under may continue to use the wading pool during this period. This period may be waived at the discretion of the pool manager.

14. A swim (lap) lane will be marked and maintained for lap swimming at the discretion of the staff. Persons not swimming laps shall remain in other pool areas. Swimmers should enter only from the end of the lane and swim counter-clockwise near the lane markers and pass in the middle.

15. No prolonged underwater swimming or deadman's float is permitted.

16. Swimmers whose hair is shoulder length or longer when wet, are required to either wear a cap or secure their hair with a rubber band when in the pool.
