We have FOUR lighted courts you can play pickleball on (two pickleball only and two paddle tennis courts that can be used for pickleball).

The courts are available on a non-reserved, open-play, first come – first served basis (if this becomes an issue, we have a reservation system ready and waiting).  The two pickleball only courts are available from 5:30 AM – 11:00 PM.  The Paddle Tennis courts can be used for Pickleball if they are not being used by Paddle players (Paddle players have priority on these two courts during the Paddle season, which runs from October through April).  During the year, various Pickleball tournaments and scheduled Pickleball events will have priority over open play.

Every Friday is “Open Play” from 4:00 – 7:00, where you show up to play and meet other members.  We have Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits, and a grill for those who show up early, stay late, or just want to watch.  We also have a very active WhatsApp group, using the messaging tool to find playing partners and set up matches.

Pickleball is a low-impact racquet sport for all ages. Pickleball is a blend of tennis, badminton and ping-pong played on a court about half the size of a tennis court. Deemed the fastest-growing sport in the United States, Pickleball’s ease of play allows people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy a fun racquet sport.

Pickleball is a great game for young children learning tennis. Seniors enjoy Pickleball’s competitive intensity, and appreciate its low risk of injury to joints, muscles and tendons. Even competitive tennis players enjoy the change in skills and strategies demanded by aggressive Pickleball play.

Pickleball can be played year-round with singles or doubles, and is easy and fun to learn. Games are very accessible with new players being cycled into play in a round-robin format.  While the Club may provide paddles and balls for organized events, members are encouraged to bring their own equipment for general play.
