Water Aerobics Class: Saturday, August 9th

Wet Yet? Water Aerobics will offer a class to Old Farm members this coming Saturday, August 9th at 10:45am at the pool. There will be a $10 fee to participate in the class. This is a great way to try out water aerobics and see if you would like to participate next season!
 
Classes are held in water that is chest-deep and provide a low impact but challenging cardiovascular workout. Participants will exercise to music and perform a variety of motions including water walking and running, abdominal work and toning exercises. This class is designed to burn fat and increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone.

Wet Yet? Water Aerobics will offer classes again from June 8th through July 27th (8 classes) on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:15 at the Old Farm Pool. Classes are held in water that is chest-deep and provide a low impact but challenging cardiovascular workout.  Participants will exercise to music and perform a variety of motions including water walking and running, abdominal work and toning exercises.  This class is designed to burn fat and increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone.  A minimum of 10 persons registered is needed in order to run the class.  Class sizes will be limited – sign up early to secure your spot. Price: 8 classes – $70.00 for members, $100.00 for non-members. Drop in: $10.00/class (members only). Please make all checks payable to “Old Farm Swim Club” and drop off your payment plus this registration form at the pool office.

Masters Swimming 2014

Tollefson Swimming is proud to offer Masters Swimming again this year at the Old Farm Pool.  Swimmers will swim between 1500 and 3500 meters during each ninety-minute workout.  Freestyle will be the primary stroke for conditioning; however, we will sometimes swim all four competitive strokes. The Masters Program begins Monday, June 9 with 90-minute practices every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 5:45 to 7:15 am and ends Friday, August 8.  The fee for Old Farm members is $165; for non-Old Farm members $195. Please make check payable to Tollefson Swimming.

Masters Swimming at the Old Farm Pool

Tollefson Swimming is proud to offer Masters Swimming again this year at the Old Farm Pool.  Swimmers will swim between 1500 and 3500 meters during each ninety-minute workout.  Freestyle will be the primary stroke for conditioning; however, we will sometimes swim all four competitive strokes. The Masters Program begins Monday, June 10th with 90-minute practices every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 5:45 to 7:15 am and ends Friday, August 9th.  The fee is $165 for members and $195 for non-members.

Tollefson will also offer one-hour stroke classes on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:00 to 7:00 am for those swimmers who would like to improve their technique for more efficient swimming.  One-hour stroke classes begin Tuesday, June 11th, and end Tuesday, July 2nd. The fee is $120 for members and $150 for non-members.

Shallow Water Workout: This water fitness program is provided by the Wet Yet? Water Fitness Company.  Classes are held for 45 minutes in water that is chest-deep and provide a low impact but challenging cardiovascular workout.  Participants will exercise to music and perform a variety of motions including water walking and running, abdominal work and toning exercises.  This class is designed to burn fat and increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone.  8 classes: $64 for members, $94 for non-members. A minimum of 10 persons registered is needed in order to run the class. Water Aerobics begins Sunday, June 9th and will take place every Sunday from 10:30-11:15AM with the last class on Sunday, July 28th.

Yoga at the Old Farm Pool

Connie Jacobson will offer yoga classes on Thursday evenings from 6PM-7PM starting on June 6th and ending June 27th. Classes will take place on the new basketball court.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.  All ages welcome, including teenagers.

Four Classes for $40, members only.

Early Morning Lap Swimming Will Continue Until August 26th – If you support us!

Back by popular demand (we hope!). We will continue to offer early morning lap swimming on Monday-Wednesday-Friday until August 26th from 5:45am-7:15am.

We must have a minimum of 7 participants…

The cost per person will be only $25 for the entire period (cost covers all 6 sessions). Mina Erickson, who has been training our Master Swimmers will continue to oversee the Master swimmers and watch any others who want to come up and swim a few laps before going to work. Please bring your cash or check (made out to Old Farm Pool) with you on Monday morning when you sign in.
