In case you missed it or would like to watch it again.
Due to the unexpectedly large number of swimmers this year on the Old Farm Swim Team, our coaches will be using 5 lanes of the pool between 5:30 and 6:15 pm (45 minutes) each weekday evening until the end of the MCPS school year, which is June 16. Note that 15 of those 45 minutes occur during adult swim. After June 16, the team will begin holding additional morning practices, so we expect a normal afternoon usage pattern will develop at that time. We regret any inconvenience, and we will explore alternative arrangements for next year to avoid this arrangement. Thank you.
Looking for a few teen Volunteers to help make the Fourth of July party great!
We would like to gather a group of teens together to organize and execute some activities for the Fourth of July party at Old Farm. We will have 6 to 8 games and crafts depending on the number of volunteers. We would like 4 Leaders and 8 Participants. The commitment for Leaders is 4-5 hours (2 hours ON the FOURTH of JULY plus 2 hours AHEAD of time to plan and gather materials). The commitment for Participants is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Participants will run the activity, game or craft. All volunteers will get SSL hours for their help. Please help make the Fourth of July party a great one!

Hey Old Farm!
I can’t believe it’s already Memorial Day weekend! I hope everyone had a great offseason and are ready to start our great summer at Old Farm!
This Monday we will have our annual “meet and greet” with the coaches. We will gather on the basketball court at 5pm to discuss some important swim team news and introduce the new and returning coaches. We ask EVERYONE to come, both swimmers and parents, to catch up with summer friends and say a quick hi to the coaching squad. Here you can ask coaches and team reps any questions you may have. The meeting will take no more than 10 minutes and we would love everyone to join us!
Additionally, the coaches are very excited to begin practice Tuesday. Here is the practice schedule from May 30-June 16:
11& ups – 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm
10&unders – 5:20 pm to 6:15pm (stretches start at 5:20)
We’ll see you on Monday night at the pool.
Thanks, and GOOF!

Members of the Board of Directors will be on hand to answer membership questions. It’s also a great opportunity to submit those last minute membership dues before the early bird rates expire on April 30th.

Coaches and Representatives of the Swim and Dive Teams will be on hand to answer questions regarding the swim and dive programs, team suits and lessons programs. Registration for both the Swim and Dive Teams will be done online through Team Unify (opening in the coming days).
