Get ready for triathlon race season with open water swim drills and simulation at Old Farm Pool. Learn how to minimize effort in the water and complete the swim course more efficiently. Lane lines will be removed so participants can practice drills that focus on triathlon specific open water techniques such as sighting, drafting, pack swimming, deep water starts and buoy turns. Discuss the best technique for running entry and exits. Finish the session with an open water simulation swim. Participants should be able to swim 300+ yards continuously to participate. 15 and older welcome, though anyone under 18 needs a parent to sign a waiver on site.
